Dude, I did the 4 passes route with my wife on the back - Stellenbosch, N2 (over the pass), Grabouw, Elgin, and then over Franschoek pass from the back. Stopped for brekkie in Franschoek. then off again over Helshoogte and back to the BMW shop. @The Drongo - it was more of a ride to prove that the BMW is not for me - Gonna rather get the Yamaha 660 Tenere. Taller bike, sounds wicked with a performance pipe on and cheaper too (by R20K)

Remember what Clarkson The Klaxon has to say about BMW drivers...
