In the other fred of brand awareness Grumpy Old Dude and myself reminisced over LP's.

He mentioned Aqualalung-Jethro Tull, yes one of my all time favourites.

Not to hijack that fred, I decided to post here in BoB's "most awesome thread"

One of the mist definitive albums from the last century has to be Rumours-Fleetwood Mac.

I have received in my grubby paws a newly pressed and remastered version of this album.

Woohooo, life is good

I have a few imported Frank Duval LP's, as well as OMD's Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark. I also inherited a Reader's Digest box set og greatest classics.

I just don't have a record player :(

Very hard to say, I have accumulated some very rare gems over the years.

This 45 rpm. Fleetwood Mac is up there.

I would say my two most prized are two of the most sought after.

One I have still sealed as I have a 33.3 rpm. pressing of is Tsuyoshi Yamamoto-Midnight Sugar on 45 rpm.

Then Pink Floyd-Division Bell on baby blue vinyl.

Some others will be Ryan Adams-Gold on clear vinyl.

John Coltrane-Blue train on clear vinyl, Box set.

Led Zeppelin-Mothership boxset.

David Gilmour-Live in Gdansk box set.

Jeff Buckley -Grace very rare.

And I could go on all night, I have close to a 1000 lp's.

But all in all, the most prized and priceless will be the Midnight Sugar.

I don't have quite so many, probably around half that.

Amongst the ones I cherish, not for monetary value or rarity, are a Beatles White Album, TheThe - Mind Bomb ( something about that dove on the bayonet moves me), Pinball Wizard, and some Aphex Twin.

The The is brilliant.

The White Album, well BoB, if it was still sealed ,you would have had a fantastic payday, it's collected a higher price than any LP on e-bay.
