I like this. Any of you ever tried it - I suppose it would work with a normal bike light, go off somewhere dark and do a long exposure as you ride away?

I think I do get this one :)

The way elephants move at night time is almost like I would imagine a ghost (in which I don't believe) would move. They often congregate from sunset to around midnight at waterholes. If you sit there and watch, they can appear and disappear with almost unbelievable ease. Now you see them, now you don't. Something in this picture reminds me of that.

too ethereal for me.

I love stories about the photographers who took iconic images. Read this this morning:

RIP: Bill Eppridge

Talk about dying in public. Hey, I've just been shot in the head but just stand around and take pics why don't you?

This not pointed at Eppridge, just an observation. Check tv/cine camera in the background.

Geez - he had a hell of a body of work: Kennedy, Beatles, Striesand, Woodstock, Vietnam.

It was pretty strange this end of the world to.

We had a double rainbow in the east,a huge storm brewing in the south and a awesome sun set in the west.

Pic or we don't believe you
