BUT...What is generally regarded as the hottest road bike at the moment?I guess if price was anything to go by, the Pinarello Dogma would be right up there. Lightest - custom bike (google, there are many weight weenies)Stiffest - probably not the lightest oneMost expensive - custom bikes, ferrari, lotus and some other weird ones spring to mind.Best handling - according to who? shadowchaser-d Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Well i will add that the Cervelo most certainly will not fall into this category. A friend of mine has cracked 4 in the past 14 months. And all 4 cracked in a different place.
Guest agteros Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Best... value for money, best... speed for money, best ..... smallest financial pain in case of loss ... :DFrame is nice and stiff for crit racing as well (not that I do much of that tough), best durability, ability to handle lifes little knocks.... All of the above: My second hand Scott Speedster S6 (without the Garmin on it ) Although my Raleigh Humber is right up there if 'racing' does not enter the equation

I'm not saying they are not good bikes, but they used to be in the pinarello league, but IMO nowhere near any more...

Dogmas are around 200-300g heavier than anything else in their price category. In fact, there are alu frame modules that are lighter than the Dogma.
