StevieL Posted June 3, 2011 Share Perhaps the post should have read: Your most Desirable Road Bike? Great topic anyway. I agree. I should have started on the "desirable" note, not "the best"
nickc Posted June 3, 2011 Share Did you pray for him? Naaa, felt sorry for him, I think he was preparing himself to go to Loftus tonight to for the Bulls/Waratahs game - luckily the Sharks softened up the Waratahs last week for the Bulls tonight. The question is though if you are a Bulls supporter do you get a Bulls 29er?

The_Break Posted June 3, 2011 Share One of my mates is a Tour rider and on a day out together he saw my new S2 for the first time and we chatted about the brand. He said that the Cervelo was one of the most desirable bikes in the peloton if not the top. I think there are a lot of guys who wished they road Cervelo. His personal words about Cervelo, "Man I wish our team road those!"
LeTurbo Posted June 3, 2011 Share All I know is that, when I stop at coffee shops, it's the plastic bike riders who come over to look at my steel Colnago Master Olympic. I don't ever see them walking over to look at other plastic bikes. (Even though my front fork weighs almost as much as their whole frame.) LeTurbo Posted June 3, 2011 Share You mean those bikes came out with a rear fork aswell? Whoops. I just thought about it when I went to have a cigarette and knew I'd be hauled over the coals.

covie Posted June 3, 2011 Share Probably opening a can of worms here, and I am sure everyone has a different opinion... BUT...What is generally regarded as the hottest road bike at the moment?I guess if price was anything to go by, the Pinarello Dogma would be right up there. I realize that most of the top of the range bikes are separated more by grams than by standout sex appeal. The one that gives you the most function and performance for the best price. And that aint no Dogma.
'Dale Posted June 3, 2011 Share Most desirable road bike for me is the Spez Tarmac SL 3 S-Works... thats why I ride one, but can't wait to get my Venge! Was wondering about that, man...Load the Venge for the flatter races. Load the SL 3 for the climbing races.
