For those interested - profile of the climb from my phone GPS / endomondo. Sats have it as around 1000m climb - but I'm not sure how accurate the GPS on my phone is...

this time round i cycled up koringberg...net 'n pity party ouens wil weer 'n blerrie FIT vang omdat mens in hulle pad is!

"keep to the left boys, keep to the left boys"! f@K most walkers did keep to their left, i was on the right, so gee my net kans om uit die pad uit te kom! gan 'n paar sekondes nou saakmaak..i had to wait for the walkers to move a bit further to the left, so i can move over to the left, sodat Mr olimpiese spele verby kan kom! angry.gif

En daar was darm 'n sweeper bike, hyt my so 2 keer gevra of ek orraait is! Was bly PPA was nie meer daar teen die tyd wat ek klaargemaak het nie, wil nie daai tyd teen my naam he nie!

Hoop eks beter voorbereid vir K2C...

Really enjoyed the 40km.

This event again rates as one of my "must do" races on the calendar. Judging by the number of cars and the results out on Racetec, this event has more than doubled in two years.

Very well organised. Beautiful setting. Good mix of terrain. Fantastic "plattelandse" hospitality. I didn't have any problems with the route markers.

Hopefully it will be staged again next year.

I had 900m of climbing and distance of 38.5km according to my Polar.

here's my details :)

So this saturday its time for this baby again! Who's going? Current prediction shows a bit of water problematics...

I feel terribly sorry for the organisers - it's raining cats and dogs in the Western Cape. And it doesn't look like holding up anytime soon. It will be a mud-feast. I was planning on going through, but I'm not too sure now. Sunday's Oude Molen W2W event in Grabouw will also be interesting, although drainage is better in that area.
