Same here...wrote the Chem paper on Thursday. Started studying (on my bed) on Tuesday night, fell asleep and woke up the Wednesday morning thinking it was Thursday - was in such a flat spin because i knew NOTHING, then realised that i still had a day left, so my heart rate dropped by a 100bpm and i relaxed a bit.

drinking does help....

"Well you see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo.  And when the herd is hunted, it's the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first.  This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells.  Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells.  But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.  In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers...."

It is simple, cramming does not work, you should read, rest and contemplate. Blicksem has mastered the first two. I hope he gets the last one right soon.

If the subject is mainly facts like Biology or History then read out loud and record onto an iPod and play it back over and over. Once played enough times you can record just keywords. This can be done while out training or on rollers etc.

Worked for me but I used a walkman back in the day! Cool
