Cap: There's a pic at the bottom of the previous page. But alas, she is incomplete and has yet to make her maiden voyage. Fortunately my CRC order touched down at the JIMC... so maybe tomorrow I can add the finishing touches (although my stem is coming from Evan Cycles, and may be lost somewhere due to them abbreviating my address... argg!)

slightly OT: is evans cheaper than CRC, or was it just a who_has_stock thing?

They were about the same price. They do however offer free shipping on parts over R630 (but that's with royal mail dry.png)

In my case I went with Evans cos CRC doesn't sell the Easton Havoc stems in 1.5" steerer. I know 1.5" isn't common. Especially now with tapered becoming so popular, but you'd think CRC would sell all the 2012 Havoc stem variants?!

patches that is looking hot!drool.gif

Wow Patches looks awesome, love the colour will look uber hot with the orange stem.

Looking smokin' there Patchman! See you got Crossmax SX's on. Have ordered them for my Tracer. Can't wait.

Thanks guys! That darn stem can't come quick enough! I tried just riding in the garden with the 85mm stem it has on it. I feel so disconnected from the bike. Don't know how the Xc guys do it with long stems and narrow bars!

@Banna, the build quality on the Crossmax SX's looks great! plus these are old (2008) ones. I'm guessing you're getting 2011/2012s, which are even better. That said though... I've never had such a skinny rim before, and I'm a little apprehensive about that. I guess I'll just have to see how they hold up.

hotdamn Mr Patches: that's supersick! and i'm with Mr Mouse: orange stem, and may I suggest orange grips too. That color combo will go down awesomely!

Orange grips?! ...darn it, I just spent money on green ones! hahaha!

But there is one more orange addition... nice thick orange goodridge brake hoses... already got the hose, just need to find out what connecting fittings my brakes require.
