If your pockets are deep enough, and you can pull out about R3K odd, get these!

 

They don't need to be that expensive. I payed less then R1000 for my Specialized Sport MTB shoes. Nice sole for a weekend warrior or in my case bi-annually warrior.

Mine have lasted 4+ years and haven't had any issues with them. Nice thing about specialized is that you can also get different in-soles to suit a variety of needs e.g. collapsed arches.

on spesialized tahoe for the last 3 years and no problems.they do walk more comfortable than my olympic hurricanes though.good value for money both.i know on which training routes i will walk so then i put on the spes.i have found that i seem to have more power with the stiffer sole.
