Why is it intriguing. There are many allies in the peloton

...and long memories, I was just watching the PVR recording again, (its raining and I am bored) and did you notice no one helped SKY to pull back Valverde, they were left to do it all themselves, all the other podium contenders had allies at some point even if it was brief, Astana for 'Berto, BMC for Valverde, but SKY had none and were left in the front - Pay back for leaving Valverde on the road?. :whistling: or just co-incidence? - because now its left Chris vulnerable to losing his 4th position to Moreno, a superb climber in good form with the really big queen stage to come on Saturday.

I think it was Tiralongo who stood up for Berto all allong.. they rode on astana together and are good friends.. Rods was caught with his "rods" around his ancle today.. He should have known Alberto was capable of this.. In his younger days he won several "hilly" stages by attempting solo breaks..

The boy has guts, spirit and BALLS...thats why I love him!!

Hitting the refresh tab this morning after not having time/bothering watching last night was like... huh.. NOW WAYS!!

Alberto my BOY!!!

Yeah, agreed, did you hear Tiralongo when he came to the front "VENGA, VENGA Alberto"!!,........jump on the bus is leaving the station.!

Oh my heck cannot believe how disappointed i was to see Rodriguez not even try and stay with AC when AC broke away (+/- 23 km to go...) Maybe Rod got caught out thinking that the group he was with would not allow AC to get away...

It does pee me off to say this but ja AC was in a class of his own yesterday

He must have had a good dinner the night before......

The meat jokes will always follow AC.

Sadly so yes. If he attacks its because he sucked wheel the entire race, if he wins its because he had a steak meal, I just find it really juvenile, like him or not, the man is a superb athlete, no one can deny that, but yeah, sometimes thats just the way it is.

He was, sort of reminds me of the 2011 TDF when he went on a solo attack as well to try win, great entertainment.

I dont think Rodriguez could respond though, he said he was hoping for an easy day so maybe he was tired, but Saxo worked their plan to perfection and isolated him with only one team mate, he was never going to get back like that, and although some thought Valverde may help, I think he had his own plans and they didnt include Rodriguez.

where?

Ummm, maybe the entire Vuelta 2012.? Or maybe you know something we dont.?

Or maybe the 2008 Vuelta? or maybe the 2008 Giro?, or maybe the 2007 TDF?, or maybe the 2009 TDF? or maybe the countless other races he has won in the past that still stand.

You will need to do better than that.!

...but either way, I dont understand the aggro.?
