Yeah, you quite right.. but they might do it anyway.... and beside, some genius will develop an ultra lite weight disc brake system. It wouldn't need to be as strong as on an MTB.

Again....I don't have a problem with the power my roadie's brakes offer, but they feel pretty ***!

Rockshocks actually had a Roubaix (??) edition for roadbikes some time back. Looked quite sleek but only really found application in the extreme spring classics and cyclocross.
