I always enter late usually on the last day, 3 months down the line I will have a clearer picture of things, 6 months ahead is way to early for me.

 

....and Shade is correct, some years back (I think the first year it was back over Chappies) it filled up in two days but I think there was a huge dropout on race day.

that's a gradual increase, the drop off in interest is sharper.

 

i think the Argus hit it's peak capacity a few years back and has had to plateau since. keeping the interest doing the same thing is tough when there are now a lot more events competing for facetime. but hang aorund long enough and people will enter because "IT'S THE ARGUS!"
