after some 3km and 5km runs in the last few months we decided the time was ready to take Alaska with as we were going to climb Cradock behind George

Weather was perfect for her,,, she is imported so sometimes it can get to hot for her

We started at 6'C and the summit was about Zero

all in all a good 5 hours of fun out in fresh air

What do you carry with you to give her water? Or do use the natural streams?

Posted

Between us we carry about 3 liters of water but that only for emergencies.

We had quite a bit of rain in the last 3 weeks so there's mountain streams and a small fountain overflow about 3km from the summit.

Then there's also quite a bit of fresh water laying in the rock formation.

We feed her before the time and afterwards she gets 2 cans of tuna or fresh fish if i have.

Jealous of you having such nice "play facilities" at your backdoor!

I love this post so much. Stunning, stunning dogs & I love that even though they are big dogs you guys really love them like family & spoil them & do activities with them.

So often dogs like rotties just get left outside to guard the house.

And the photos are beautiful.

Thanks TR.

Agreed - so awesome to see you and your fur kids going out and doing such awesome things as a family. And Alaska looks like she loved every minute.
