Was in our local M&B last night and they are very 'cyclist friendly', have quite a lot of recent international cycling publications available to read. Interesting I read that Super Mario recently said that neither Cav nor Fabian are champions 'great sprinters/riders' perhaps but not champions .... this he related to them not having the consistency that the true greats have had (i.e. Merckx etc.) and said that Cav every now and then arrives at races 'fat' for example .....

 

Not a man for holding anything back it seems, OK he does need to keep his name in the public eye since he is also selling bikes!

 

Anyway was just interesting ....

GC contenders will take it easy today, most prob, as rest day is only on Monday.

 

They will also look to prepare for Sat's stage 14.

Tomorrow's 205 big mountain stage... that will shake up the GC ladder.
