I was a smoker for 21 years I quite on the 1st June 2012 at 18:00 its been a rocky month and a bit well almost 2 months but it has been worth it. Will never go back to smoking i still get strong cravings but the thought of having to do this all again keeps me from going back. Overall it is worth quiting my overall health has improved and there has even but a little bit extra spending money that i have used towards upgrades on my bike so to those considering or have just quite just do it and be strong it is worth it.

Had a small slip on Tuesday evening. Yes I smoked. I feel like the biggest dumbass for doing it. :(

Now to just work on never doing it again. This week marks week 6 since I changed my life forever.

Keep strong people and remember that never mind how bad **** gets, smoking will no help.

Now to work on anger management.

I feel you anguish, I'm still smoking, not as much as I was, but nevertheless I still am, very annoyed with myself.

I have a smoke now and then .love it specially with a cup of coffee at night

I feel you on that one. I can go weeks without a smoke but every now and then I enjoy it. So guess I am still a smoker in many people's eyes

fortunatly what other people think does not bother me at all ,often the people throwing stones have a couple of nasties of their own ,some a lot worse than smoking.

I believe in moderation. All the anti smokers should maybe join toegether and look at channeling their energies against SUGAR an absolute evil yet happily fed to all incl children

I have actually never wanted to get up and leave a room because someone put sugar in their tea or coffee.

Not always about you .I was talking about the users

Go have a smoke and calm down, it's not about me but every other anti-smoker who hates their clothes stinking when they get home.

Come with a better argument.

You didnt understand my first comment so slowly again just for you.

Do not need smokes to calm down,am very calm right now, also not arguing just expressing my opinion.

Attaboy! Remeber that first feeling the next time you want to light up and how k@k it is having to reset your counter back to zero after all that hard work... As for your second point., never a truer word spoken. You can suck on that stick but 99.99% of the time the problem will still be there after the headrush goes away.

You are all playing a mind game. You need to not focus too much attention on the lack of cigarettes but rather look at the benefits of not having cigarettes anymore.

@ Caerus: Focus Boy!! You've done it before so you can do it again.

To everybody else: there are loads of people that have quit and are fag free. You aren't the only ones battling

Good Luck!!
