  1. 1. Hypothetically speaking, you are about to pull the trigger and need to decided between the following uber bikes

    • Keep your Ibis Mojo HD
      6
    • Try a Turner 5-Spot
      3
    • Wait a month for a Morewood Sukuma
      16
    • Play it safe and risk going with an Ibis Mojo SL-R
      12
    • Go completely new and order an Intense Tracer 2
      6
    • Pray that Morewood's Mbuzi replacement is imminent
      5
    • Give the Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon a go
      27
    • Please the_wes and add the Commencal AM to the list
      9
    • Or go for the killer looking Yeti SB-66
      18

So Martin Hattingh: keen on a group order for some Intense action? ;)

Martin is mos a purist.... believes that carbon is from the devil and that all Intense's must be in alu form. So Cap, I think you're wasting your time. :P

Sorry guys, I don't ever get any alerts from this here hub, so never saw this post update.

Banna, it's no so much the alu itself that's the issue, it's the fact that their carbon stuff isn't hand-welded with love by a dude while listening to AC/DC!

Top two at this stage? Mojo SL-R or Blur TRC

Go for the Cruz then. You haven't had a VPP bike yet, so give that a bash. I think the media reviews on the TRc is in any event slightly better than those of the SLR.

Just trying to speed up the procurement process. For goodness sake, get on with it already!

Whats the question? Crow you getting more PORN? Yeez bra you have owned some sick bikes. I dont think theres a question for me, you know what I'll own.. I will own.. and this bike will be what I dreamed about all my life.. a bike you can blast down the roughest lines with added amount of skill and finesse, but also roll up at the start of a 100km cx race.. or slap a short stem on and go DS at delvera for the day..

Ive given up on owning 3 different bikes, because after Ive had to negotiate which way home from woodstock to kloofnek (theres 3 routes and all of them have their days) I dont feel like planning which bike I want to pic.. Ok actually i just cant afford it :)

So heres the bike.. even Greg Mineer cant shut up about how good this bike is.. If you need more skill the Nomad will do but I reccon the Idea behind AM is that you do ride up.. and I think the heavier the bikes get to 13kg's the less likely you are to take the long route home ;)

Nee lekke..get a Nomad but build it light.. youve never been into the uphill race..

Bos, I was in Mike's Bikes the other day and saw his AM beast, which I think you would most definitely approve of.

Santa Cruz Nomad Carbon (in bright green)

Enve carbon wheels and bars

Full 2012 XTR

Reverb Seatpost

Fox with Kashima (front and back)

What's with the reports that the Tracer 2 is flexing on the rear. Something changed from Tracer 1 to Tracer 2 and several Mags have picked up on it.

Sayin it could be better?
