I hope our selectors take note (unlike they have done in the past) of the way bowlers arenused. In some games, fast bowles will travel and spinners domoinate. I wonder if we would have gone with 3 spinners like NZ did, and left out Stey and Rabada, for example, if it were us playing India in that opening match.

Don't hold your breath..............our selectors too one dimensional.

Well what do the Indian pitch curators do now? To be fair, the NZ spinners are basically part-timers. Santner averages over 50 in first class T20's,McCullem averages 40 and Sohdi averages 44.

For us Tahir averages 26, Duminy 40, Phangiso 32 and Behardien 49. It will come down to batting firepower and how the respective line ups play slower bowling. Chris Gayle showed us how its done last night.

Some costly fielding errors by the English

Seems like The Gayle Force softened them up

Root and Butler going well. Need a wicket quick quick.

And all these extra's ain't helping either.

19 wides with 5 overs left.. That's not good enough

Fortunately Tahir got a wicket so still in with a chance for a win without the extra's hurting us. However you can't concede easy runs to the opposition like that aside from making it easier for England to manage the chase it also shows a lack of discipline amongst the bowlers.
