Hi flymango, yip got one and it works brilliant. It keeps the watch in a 'safe' place and you also never have to adjust time if you haven't wore the watch for more than two days.

Seeing as this thread has gone a bit beyond "what are you wearing"...

...the wishlist - and still realistically priced, i.e. affordable by mortal man

Tutima Grand Classic Chrono

Sinn 900 Flieger

Sinn 857 UTC

Nomos Club Date

Fortis B42 Flieger

Anonimo Polluce Bronze

Anonimo Marlin

and lastly Nomos Sundial (sadly only works properly in the northern Hemisphere, but I live in hope they make a southern hemisphere one)

...don't much like mainstream brands as you may notice. No fan of quartz either, all the above are mechanical...even the Sundial :D

I really like the Fortis B42.

This is what I love about the hub - you could ask for advice on spaying siberian husky puppies and guaranteed a hubber will post a pic by pic how to DIY.

Strong the knowledge is in this hubber world!

Ebay for watches - new used, private sellers, retailers - they're all there and pretty much any brand you could ever thing of. Prices in SA way over the top IMHO

SA marked prices are high but most Jewelers will bring the price down if you are a serious buyer.

I will never buy a watch from a online seller,a dealer or private.

A few years back even the Hub was rocked by a watch scandel ;)

Fair point but I've not had a problem - last dealer I bought from in the UK had shipped the watch 2 days before he received my payment. Rating systems like Ebay has work like a charm. I should know, my wife spends a fortune on Ebay every year and never once a had a problem.

3. My current pride and joy - Chopard Mille Miglia GMT Chrono Speed Black 2 bought in the UK last year.
