Hahaha thats funny! Like Eldron said, nice irony there.

Isn't it also the 7th day adventurists that observe the Sabbath on Saturday?

Seventh-day ADVENTIST. But that definitely put a smile on my face. And yes the Adventists do worship on a Saturday following the 4th commandment to do so.

And Jesus said "if you love me, keep my commandments." Actually the Meals on Wheels race is run by ADRA (Adventist Disaster and Relief Agency).

I like what someone said earlier about relationships as opposed to religion, and if that statement was to hold any ground then the most natural conclusion would be to express that relationship in different ways. One of the ways is to remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy (4th commandment). I doubt when God wrote holy he was thinking of adding- even on your bicycle...

The main character from the movie "Chariots of Fire", Eric Liddle said "God made me fast and when I run I feel His pleasure!" I agree with this.

The Flying Scotsman! Eric Liddell was never considered a threat by his competitors in the 400, and he slayed them!

It is all about relationship ,not religion.Religion is a killer and is dead works, whilst relationship is knowing God and HIS heart. For those who are IN Jesus CHRIST,there is no more codemnation.

"F... you, I am going to church!"

You should come up here and ride on Atlas road on a Sunday. The churchgoers will sooner kill you than give you right of way, so they can get to there almighty church. Some "relationship" with God they must have. Why, their attitude and behaviour is enough to make me want to call my mates that went to a mountain school in Afghanistan.

Clearly those aren't your mormon friends ... LOL

No. If anything the Mormon crowd will kill you quicker than other "Christians" to get to their worship on a Sunday.

Religion is man-made, Relationship with God is God made, come into a relationship and then sin and blessing will make sense.

Interesting to see how many people try to 'get their say' (in a bashing way) here on a 'pretty normal' situation. If you fell while doing a trick or whatever on your bike & someone laughed would the thread be posted here of that 'sadist'?

Religious lunatics... I know it's been said here, but you are allowed to ride on sunday. sunday isn't even the Sabbath. It's pretty intereting that it was changed from saturday to sunday by Constantine because he tried to unite the christians with the (2-3 different) sun worshippers of that time (32something AD). Most christians don't even know it & that's why they fail to defend their religion (for lack of a better word). Christians do not know what they stand for & why. They even think the promises clearly made to Israel was forfeit because of the rejection of Yeshua, but gladly stick out their hands for the blessings Israel was promised.

Indeed I also thought that some people take it too far untill I started studying the Bible. At first glance it's easy to make it off as fiction & ridiculous etc. ,but when you really look into the hebrew (& greek) the picture gets colour.

Christians dont need to observe Sabbath... Acts 15 if memory serves me well. It's true that we are saved by grace (God's riches at Chrit's expence if you will). We cannot keep the law (10 commandments - not 10 recommendations) The law is actually there to show us our need for salvation.

Just my 2c

Hope you get better soon

Yes if we could by our works get into heaven then you don't even need to believe. & obviously the more money you pour into the church the better seat is reserved for you in heaven...

The other thing is some christians or even 'christians' (people saying they are) are just people like everyone here. I mean even professional riders fall. I thought he was pro - how could he fall on that elimentary corner?

I thought the Apostle Paul pretty much founded Christianity, and he was divinely inspired, wasn't he? Or at least he was instructed at the Feet of Jesus? So tell me again how religion is man-made.

Like the christians that would rather kill me on my small bicycle when I have a green light, and they are trying to get to church?

Like I said 'christians'

One should not make haste to church if you overslept from partying or whatever reason from the previous night-haha. Rather stay home.

Sorry I said 'man - made' , but man tries to reconcile... Adam & Eve tried to cover themselves with fig leaves (first act of religion) when they ate of the forbidden fruit. Then God maid them clothes of skin to show them that by the shedding of innocent blood they will be cevered.

The apostle Paul was a jew & he was saved (converted if you will) & was sent out to the gentiles. Religion is man's attempt to reconcile with God (YHWH)

When Jesus (Yeshua) died on the cross he cried out: "Tetelistai" / it is finished. John 19:30

God maid? Cevered?

Nevermind that Paul was a "jew", Jesus was (is) a Jew...

I guess when you die, crucified or not, it is finished.

Try English (and come up with a better argument) and we'll talk again.

Sabbath is from Friday 18H00 to Saturday 18H00 if I’m correct, Jewish people can help here.

Sunrise to Sunset. from Friday to Saturday. Must be a NG Kerk oom or a Christian that thinks he knows what he is talking about, but are clueless...

Oh and sorry if someone already posted this reply. But I am not going to spend my time to read through 6 pages of banter!
