TNT1 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Read three local mags - Tread, Ride, and Bicycling - and subscribe to Bike, and pick up MBUK when I see it, and sometimes MTBR. Must still get around to subscribing to Privateer… http://www.privateer.cc/ Steal old copies of Procycling from my boet. You have to pay for the smelly mag?

LeTurbo Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 I've just chucked out about 100 magazines 'cos I'm moving. And I thought of the cost which would at least have let me buy a few decent cycling books as well as a nice old Mercian that I've seen.
Jeepdude Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Dude.. Are you related to F_ _A_I_L by any chance?nope but am afraid i don't get the connection... are we off equal weakness?
scotty Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 I buy them and read them travelling on the Gautrain, much better than staring at other passenger or out the window.
Eldron Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Marketing bumnph... pfff.. I do love Bicycling magazine... Get as fit as Lance in only 30 seconds a year.Glue a tubby on with one hand tied behind your back.Lose that winter flab by eating chocolate all day.Foods that double your speed. They should bail Powerbalance out - both have the same marketing slogans/strategy.
philip.maree Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Buy Tread Mag. Havent missed an issue. Ride Mag, the odd edition.Would love to buy Tread mag but I think it's made of recycled toilet paper. Unfortunately I can't even open it without experiencing the urge to throw up!
