No food, or drinks?

Food and drinks goes without mention I guess. Each person will have his or her own preference?

Does anyone have an idea of the course? Reason for asking - if its going to be really technical, rocky bouncy (extreme ok) - then I cant ride - seemed to have torn both shoulder tendons/muscles (???)and am allowed to ride IF I am careful and do not go speeding (yeah rush) around like a crazy thing.

Lots of up and down sections on the river trail. Not rocky at all. Very smooth actually.

If you have the ability to carry momentum on the ups then you should be fine.

Depends greatly on the rider. I struggled with a 29er to keep good momentum on those sections of the trail.
