SwissVan Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Jingle bells and lets go for a snow ride together playing on the TV.... Today marks the official beginning of IDT season, woke up this morning to find this winters first snow fall in town. Not much but enough to make the IDT seem pleasant.... Some wise clown once said something about there’s no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing for the weather, ja right! At least the weather station found something to be optimistic (smile) about!

kosmonooit Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 I been watching outdoor winter sports events in the snow on-line via the normal sources, and also a very muddy cyclocross world cup event today. Can see the freezing weather there is on the up. But people have adapted to cope it seems. Jhb weather is a suitable juxtaposition ie awesome. This place might be a $h1thole in many aspects but the summer weather here is just fantastic.

SwissVan Posted December 20, 2011 Author Posted December 20, 2011 Brrrr that looks cold Gummi, but ja its not to bad if your prepared for it.Last winter I did a few 6 - 8 hour rides and was ok, but jinni it was lekker to get into a nice warm bath afterwards Pitch black by the time i get home so tonights its the IDT and Lost series 3

Only started snowing here on Saturday and temp still goes to about 8deg during the afternoon but drops to -2 at night....still warm for this time of year.
