(as per UCI regulations, maximum racing distance of 80km)Isn't the cobra 80km? hmmm. I sent that query to them this afternoon. Last year the U16's did the short aswell as CAT 4 riders.But Hey....its gonna be "blistering" fast. (lol)Good Luck.

Was thinking of doing that, short then long, think i'll give it a go.

Heckflosse Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I did a part-recce of the route this morning, rode from constantia to the start at Reddam, then over Boyes, Military Hill, Black Hill and Ou Kaapse in that order. Confirmed what I already feared, the Military climb is rather unpleasant. Is the Maritime Squadron Hill road, the one with a boom gate? Kind of overgrown?I went there this morning, but wasn't so sure, because this road didn't look like a public road? Is this the correct one?

One of the reasons I am giving this one a skip I reckon that the road is purely made for 4x4, and last I checked, a bicycle had 2 wheels....
