  • 5 weeks later...

a few random photos taken last month with my BB 9900

I have done the exact same tour in 2010!

Rome, Colosseum, Spanish steps, Assisi, Piza, Venice. Did you go to Komo?

This photo was taken pre 9/11 2001 obviously (around 1998 I think) because you can see the Twin towers in the background, but it was taken with an old Samsung flip type phone and the camera had a little eye to rotate so you could see what you were taking a shot of, its the NY skyline from the Statue of Liberty on Liberty island on a cold and blustery day - I still kinda like it.! There was no work done to it, thats exactly how it came out.

My guess, very low mega pixels with a poor ability to read the light conditions properly, a real cold day with wind and overcast with the reflection from the water giving it a blue tinge.

Either that, or you are lying about your talents

  - Ha, Ha, Naa, my camera is a cheap point and shoot, so its not my talents, but yeah I think the mega pixels had something to do with it as it looks a little grainy hey.?

.........and Yeah, it was freezing and also quite dark so you are probably right.

  - Ha, Ha, only see it now, dunno probably a spot of rain or dirt on the lens or something, dunno, those old phone camera's were real fickle and difficult to use, I actually still have the phone here somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it up and I'll post a shot of it, I think it will be a museum piece now.!
