There is a mtb ride from coast to coast in Scotland,that should be pretty cool.I would also like to do the Tour de Mauritius.& there are some awesome races in the States (Europe has plenty of course).

There are also some nice rides in Australia.

Crickey,this could mean I have get a 2nd job if I want to do some of these :)

1300km solo bike tour in Alaska - Ticked off 2010... (highly recommended)

 

450km bike tour with friends from PE to Knysna (via Baviaanskloof) - Ticked off 2011 (highly recommended)

 

Self-supported bike tour in NZ - planned for 2013

 

1 month of riding in the rocky mountaints (incl. Whistler) - future

 

Road-biking my list of top 10 TDF passes and classic stages (during July so that I can experience TDF as a spectator too) - future

 

Then there's also some South America in my mind... Maybe Bariloche???7

 

So much to do... so little time

I added La Ruta to my bucket list and have entered the 2012 edition. They have changed the race format to 3days as it is there 20year anniversary edition! Anybody with words of wisdom - PM me please...

Doing the whole tour rout before the race - check out the Reve series on www.velodramatic.com - looks awesome.

Also, London to Paris - looks like a great time.

RAAM would be the ultimate endurance test.

I've booked for Morzine for June.

 

I paid for my plane ticket this morning. Look it's not exactly bucket list cos i plan to be going back many many times.

Well mine is cycle touring and my plans are:

 

2013 - cycle tour from Cape Town to PE (got exams still this year and next else would have been this year)

 

201(4/5) - cycle tour from Sydney to small Australian town called Hay (its a 700km trip)

 

I also want to cycle tour Alaska and Canada at a latter stage.

Where does the mHealth Grand Tour go?

 

The 2,100km route from Brussels travels through Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, France and Northern Spain on to Barcelona.

Heading east from Brussels, the ride goes into the Ardennes before crossing Luxemburg and meeting the Rhine near Saarbrucken. We then head south to the Black Forest and on into France crossing the Jura mountains and on into the Alps. After the rest day the Tour heads west across Languedoc, through the Pyrenees and into Catalonia, to head down to Barcelona.
