I've got one. Great value for money!! Great ride!!

Look to upgrade seat, pedals and tubeless tyres as soon as possible, but otherwise a great package!!!

And whats your thoughts on the bike?

very happy, once you converted to tubeless. haven't done any other upgrades and enjoying it. moved from Sram X7/9 to this one's XT - what a difference. if you want to try it, and and XL is your size, give me a shout.

Thank ibruegge, i did take one for a week for testing, found its a good bike but the rear shock is very dissapointing, also tried the Anthem 29'er which i liked a bit more than the scott but The anthem had less of a racey feel to it and more of a trail bike feel. But eventually spent a lot more than both those bikes cost and got a rocky mountain element, and all i have to say is WOW holy mother of pearl what a ride :D I might never buy another bike again.

Covie now do you want to buy a Scott over and above your Rocky Mountain ?

OR are you just asking who has a the scott...

OR are you just bragging with your nice RM :P

That's right. He comes here just to laugh at us peasants who scrape together our money for Anthems and Sparks. We should gather together at midnight and burn his castle down.

So Covie, you preferred and bought the RM over the less expensive Giant and even less expensive Scott, but you are still intrigued by the Scott?

@ covie, what element did you get? Looking to get my RM this week or next

You wont be sorry :) i essentially just bought it for the frame as i want to put my own spec components on the bike. so i just got the 930 (like the black) but that said upgrades are on order, and even without it having top of the range parts, I have destroyed every single track/trail time i have set historically that thing just shreds.

Cant wait to put on the new bling and see how it goes. However if you dont want to spend too much on upgrading go for the 950.

Yebo. Named Katy. Love it. Upgraded tyres to racing ralphs. Definately more of a racing bike than my previous trail type bike, and that took some getting used to , but with the right setup it's a beaut. Did I say that it's fast?

Sorry my bad, mines the Expert , not the Elite..
