If the opposition have your game plan worked out (although different teams and competition but the way the Sharks did versus WP in the Currie Cup final), it takes a bit of flair, creativity and variation to beat the best. But it was close.

JGR Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 ai Stormers so close .... silly penalty cost them although I did think the pass from the line out that led to the try looked slightly forward and there was also a suspicion of a high talker on Carr when he nearly scored in the final minutes. Stormers stopped them scoring for nearly 70mins ... that was brave! Aussis conference is a lottery! Force gave Rebels a big smack!!!!
flymango Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Sharks were impressive!! Steyn at 10 was a revelation. Jantjies was off his best for the Lions. And Reinach moving up the ranks in my estimation as a contender for the 9 Bok jersey. Bulls had a good outing too.

I didn't watch the game so maybe I missed some good performances but at the end of the day it doesn't matter how well you played, if the opposition play better then you still lose
