the latest bulls fashion statement. have they decided that cleaning up vomit each year is too much like hard work?

such basic stats, wouldn't read much into it. they look at a lot more detailed data, than simply 'tries scored/clean breaks'. [but in saying that, I don't think we were that far behind the ABs in the tri nations this year - if they lost the game they houdini'd to a draw with oz, and morne steyn kicked the blerrie ball out it wouldn't have been ours].

Just saw this pic now, see they have added a 2015 on the jersey. Would imagine the design won't change much but you would have to upgrade to the "2016" model end of next year.

Also, maybe reading too much into it, but interesting who the chose in the second picture to turn and not look at the camera. Not very PC.......

I found myself continually switching to the Eng vs Oz game and by halftime watched that instead.

The biggest problem I have is that we do not seem to know what 'type' of game we want to play, who we want to use and then we have poor execution as well. I fear that Heyneke do not know at this point what he's starting XV will look like and he doesn't know how he wants to play it.

We are leaving the Northern Hemisphere with more questions than answers. I hope he does not place all his hope on Fourie du Preez to come back at WC time and save all.

We only have 6/7 tests to sort things out...

He's probably asking Naas to lace up too... Just in case...

Thank heavens for Loadshedding. Saved me from watching this fiasco.

Definitely reading too much into it - probably designed with this in mind...

I was in one of cape town's most famous pubs at a table right in front of a big screen - left just after the anthems. (normally I complain when wifey drags me off to some badly planned function during a test match, no issues this time - boozey picnic at kirstenbosch was def the better option)!

Anyway, amidst all the doom and gloom, this tour was always about the 2015 RWC. and while Heyneke has probably got some christmas homework to do i'm quite happy with the all blacks looking unbeatable and the boks doing their usual dip. That's all on paper of course.

Has anyone seen the draw?

here is our pool, which we should comfortably win. of course there will be the customary fight with Samoa.

then we move onto the quarterfinals - where we face the runner up from Group A - likely to be one of the first three(wales play most pool games at home too!)

Get past that and there's a 98.5% chance we face the All blacks in the semi.

I heard from a reliable source that Pierre "ruck inspector" Spies was told to take off his high heels for the second photo so that the bulls head would line up properly.

BTW, at current form I back England to win group A, followed by Australia.  So we have a good chance of meeting Aus in the quarters, followed by the All Blacks in the semis.  This could possibly (definitely) mean that it will be a southern vs northern final.  At the moment, I would recon an Ireland vs New Zealand final.  I just don't see us there in the finals.  Easy group, but tough road to the finals.

So the Sharks play Toulon and the Bulls Saracens in their respective Super 15 Warm Up campaigns - two good international games coming up

I know his pain.

Had the same injury as him in school,

just wish i had competent medical staff around me at the time.

Waited 1.5 hours before i got any form of treatment.

It is absolutely excruciating and you just dont understand unless you have had it.

Having had a bad knee injury I can imagine what he must have felt.

Looking at that and thinking of the ligament damage I think he is out the world cup.
