Probably a Super. I see none of the top tube or downtube is crimped. Just my guess too. gummibear

Also, based on the BB, its a newer version, more like mid 90s and later. Earlier models had the cutout in the BB. I'm not sure what the cutover year was though. HeyYou Posted December 6, 2015 Share Is this a Colnago Super Piu. I have researched and this is the closest I can get to?20151204_195100_resized.jpg20151204_195119_resized.jpg20151204_195128_resized.jpg20151204_195135_resized.jpg20151205_154121_resized.jpgColnago1.jpg20151205_194543_resized.jpg20151205_194618_resized.jpgColnagopiu.jpg20151205_220217.jpg Nice acquisition Eppie. I agree, a Super. The details are very, very similar to my late 80s, early 90s Super, other than mine has the BB cutout and mine has curved forks (old style). The paintwork is identical to my 1994 Master Olympic, so my guess would be 1993/94 Super.
Loose cog Posted December 6, 2015 Share I agree, mid 90's Super. Colnago was sometimes also branded on the chain stay but not always. Earlier Super's did not have chromed head tube lugs. Nice bike. Try and date from the groupset, especially the BB.

Eppie Posted December 6, 2015 Share Guys thanks for all the advice on the Colnago Super. Sadly the bike was to small for me but went to a good home with one of my vintage collector friends here in Cape Town. It did however pave the way for me getting my hands on the Colnago Master that has been missing from my collection. Here are some picture of her after a good wash and polish.
