Spent the afternoon at the new extended table tops. It was great to run into a couple of Hubbers from Cape Town  , the hub flags are flying high here in PMB.

Tracey Hannah (Morewood) kicked ass and deserved her number one spot.

Greg made it look all too easy clearing both table tops with ease, and looked like a man possessed, qualifying in the number one spot.

A bit of rain here in PMB at the moment, but all should be good for the XC tomorrow (Go Burry)

The atmosphere here in PMB is electric, guys like Nick Floros (XC course designer) and Nigel Hicks (DH Course designer) delivered on an amazing course that is spectator friendly and challenging enough for the best in the world.

Makes me proud to be from Maritzbrugh and South African.

Good Luck to all the saffers tomorrow.

A special mention to Travis Browning, an awesome DH rider and all round nice guy who had an unfortunate fall today and missed qualifying for tomorrow. Dude hang in there, your time will come, your talents speak for themselves.

If you get the opportunity get yourself to Cascades in PMB and enjoy our Midlands hospitality and a opportunity to see the best XC and DH riders in the World.

Big Up for Sam Bull - son of one and only Dr Al Bull, friend from varsity days.

No, wish they did, only the top 80 men who Qualified today get to ride on Sunday.

Greg said via Twitter that the course is a bit crumbly, and some rain would be good. Me and the familia will be there tomorrow.

I see Kelvin also failed to qualify. Real pity. Another excellent rider from PMB.
