best groupset combo for specialized tarmac pro _ any advice?

i have a 2008 s-works tarmac pro frame, my hill climbs suck and i need an easy ride setup,

i'm building the bike, so obviously do not want to break the bank.

I have a 2010 tarmac pro, rides it with super record. It clibs very well due to the responsiveness of the frame.

i had campy on a look, the bike shops always had some odd comment or the other on the groupset, sold the wretched thing but kept the brakes

not happy to go campy again, also crazy pricey.

Cwc has Dura Ace 7800 selling for R7999 not sure if its still available worthwhile checking their web. I would go with Dura ace

Get a compact crank, it gives you all of the options....

If your decision is based on price, that is fine,

but if you make your decisions on what other people say about your bike, you are going down the wrong path.

 

Choose what is right for you - your pocket, your riding style, your strengths and weaknesses and not what will attract less odd comments.

Well, if you take your Ferrari to a Tata mechanic he's going to be just as clueless as the bike shops you visit.
