I wanna go there so bad....

Totally do-able.

I'm gonna put together a fully catered trip for people that are interested for next year. The trip will include A semi catered luxury chalet (cooked breakfast and 3 course dinner), Plane tickets, Entry to the Passportes du Soleil MTB race and guided riding (focusing more on the All Mountain stuff)

Day trips to Pila in Italy can also be arranged.

This might actually be the fountain of youth. Or the fountain of Mutzig.

Some Morzine Prettyness. This restaurant is 70m from the apartments we stayed in. Great fondue.

Wooo hoo the psyche is all good for this trip!

Thanks for the pics OM. When do you release the movie?

Edit to add: that my bike has had a full set of new pivot bearings installed & the revamped brakes (Goodridge) go on either this weekend or next week sometime

Nice pics

Some comments and questions

  • Love the Morewoods :)
  • That huge bloody berm is cool .. but why were you not riding it on the face
  • Could the teenagers find their bikes in that mess every morning
  • Great that there are no bloody KFC's or some other fast food rubish outlets in the town (based on pics)
  • Where are the beer ladies?
  • Could the AM ride you are referring to be accomplished a on a 150mm front and 145mm rear travel Shova with a slight bent to more of a trail vs AM build?
  • Those pics lean towards fast open trails vs more slower tech trails?

  • Loove The Morewoods. The frogs love them too
  • It wasn't me. It was my mate JP. The reason he was at the bottom is cos the bottoms of the berms are typically smoother.
  • Ja. I will not be doing the trip with siff teenagers again. You should have seen the place after they had a night out on the Mutzig. Oh and the bikes are locked away in a bike storage.
  • There were no MC Donalds either. The French don't seem to like franchises. Once you get into Geneva you start seeing the big M's again. ew.
  • The brits don't call it Manzine for nothing.
  • Yeah for sure. I'm probly gonna take my Mbuzi next year. There's riding for all tastes and skill levels and if you are doing the passportes race you want a 5 inch bike with a dropper.
  • Like I said there's riding for all tastes. The pics i've posted so far are of the Les Gets main line where you hit 55kph and massive jumps so a dh rig is in order but there are green and blue trails all over the place. To make your bike perfect for the place you will need a dropper post and 203 rotors. That will have you sorted for most of the trails. Some kneepads and one of those enduro/fullface lids are a good idea too especially if you want to smash a little dh. The trails are so well built that you can case all the jumps and still have a fat jol.
