Intent to commit fraud doesn't seem to be a crime in Africa.

funny thing this has been my same story ALL day.. last night at 1700 i post a Galxy tab on Gumtree by 6 guy says he is taking it.. by 10pm (idiot phones me when in bed allready) says he will pay me R500 more to send it overnight counter to counter.. asks for e-mail adress but sends me a dodgy sms this morning... i went to NEDBANK but they could not verify if the sms was legit.... if it was a hubber i would have sent... but the tab is sitting pretty on my desk right now..

This is a crime. It's called "uttering" - the presentation of a falsified document...

Why would he put his own name as his statement reference??? And the reference number should be automatically generated so it's highly unlikely that is contains 'PS3'...

Hi Guys, i hope you can help me. How does Nedbank's online proof of payment look like. The reason i ask is, because my friend sold his PS3 on OLX, but this guy who bought it, are insisting he send the ps3 immediately with overnight delivery. And the funds would only be clear tomorrow morning in his ABSA account. That all ready sounds to dodgy for me. So luckily he didn't send the ps3 yet.
