Stan's ZTR Arch 29er Wheels

Anyone been riding these for a decent amount of time? I'm particularly keen to know how tough these are?

 

Looking to put them on my (hopefully) soon-to-arrive Tallboy.

I have a Tallboy (AWESOME) and have just ordered a set of Arche's built on to my Chris King hubs. Had Sunrinqle- no problems. Lionman took my rims away....

18 months. The best. Also have DT Swiss on my hardtail - not the same without that King buzzzzz

Also have had mine for 8 months or so. 95kg's and running on a rigid, single speed with Hope hubs. No problems and pretty bullet proof in my opinion.

Rather go for the Flow's. I recently got me a set on Hope Pro 2's. Seriously strong & stiff and can take quite a beating. They are only a couple of grams heavier and cost the same.

I'm in 2 minds between Stan's ( not sure which ones) with Hope hubs or Mavic Crossmax 29er's. Most important for me is strength and reliability then weight. Opinions ?

Sounds like a plan. Do you also struggle to get certain tyres on these? I've heard that some Stan's rims are pretty tough to get tyres on.

I'm running Arch rims with Hope Pro II Evo hubs for 6 months now. I'm 85kg riding a carbon hardtail 29er. I ride this bike hard and the wheelset and hub combination is perfect for me. YOu can get lighter and you can get cheaper but as an overall combination they're hard to beat.

I believe the Geax tyres are nearly impossible to mount on the Stans. I'm running Schwalbe's with no problems

My son battled for 2 days to get a set of Geax onto Crest wheels .Gave up...sold them to a hubber and bought Easton EA 90 instead
