What is the cycling etiquette when cycling on quiet roads? Especially sometimes when there is a solid line in the middle of the road? From a safety point of view a bunch should go single but when roads are very quiet it seems silly? Motorists are usually anoyed and so are cyclists! Any comments?

Remember that a quiet road to you is also a quiet road to a motorist (especially a local) and odds are they will be going over the speed limit.

Yeah, customary contentious matter... on the final day of the working week... when most users here are grumpy... and need to ride their bikes...

The law say 2 abreast, respect the law. Besides 90% of cyclists get merged with the tarmac on "quiet" roads since drunk motorists know there will be no police presence and they can ride as badly as they want.

We went to the moon ?. :)

Woohoo. Nows here a topic that we can all debate about. "Apparently" went to the moon. Think Lance Armstrong grandfather and another dude that was high on buzz or something like that

Hey guys! Thanks for the advise! Awesome morning on the bike and unfortunately another close call between cyclist and car - quiet road, cyclist about 1 m in from side of road, all think they own the 'quiet' road! Lots of hands and fingers waving - not friendly!

Well worth ranting and raving about! Emotions run high and accidents happen... What can I say?

Now, someone hand me some popcorn and tell me about this strong-armed guy on the moon :)
