It will be a super entertaining tdf if the 5 guys nochain mentioned arrive in the shape they aim for. It would be great to see the 3 climbers attack with everything they have to put time into the other 2. I think Evans would also need to gain a bit of time on Wiggins on the climbs. Wiggins has a very strong team, they probably plan to defend in the mountains.

It would be cool if Menchov made some moves again.

He's been so quiet in the peloton.

Re the Trek:

I like the integrated ant+ speedo and cadence pick up in the chainstay. I also think the old bent seatpost / seat tube looked crap, this looks much better.

BUT

The brake caliper is in a stupid place. The marketers probably won that fight, it wasprobably done just to be different.

Must be some aerodynamic advantage for the rear brakes to be located there...

Nice Trek.

 

Their TT bikes were like that, pretty amazing.

although if it rains...eish.

I'm impressed by the amount of climbing in this race.

Even today's sprinter's stage has several CAT climbs in there.

 

No wonder it is considered ideal final prep for le Tour.

Watching the highlights now on DSTV, nice also to see some of the French mountain scenery again, looking forward to the Tour.
