Hi All you tree hugging, bunny cuddling, tofu eating vegan hippies.

 

Any of you doing track cycling in CT.

 

I ask this as I am interested in giving it a spin and would like to know more.

report to a guy call glen bonthuys at the bellville velodrome on a wednesday evening from about 6.30pm. or call marks bicycle workshop in bellvile and speak with duncan mcintyre. both glen & duncan run training sessions. glen for the novices and duncan for the more skilled and faster riders.

Check out trackcycling.co.za. They based out of Bellville Velodrome as far as I understand.

There used to be a hubbers league at the track events. Very social with braai & beers and great for newbies to come and give track racing a go.

 

There are even bikes available to borrow for the evening. All you had to bring was you own pedals ... and beer of course.

 

Havent heard much from the guys lately.
