obree Posted June 11, 2012 Share Just remove the freehub body and clean all the grease out of it, then put a light oil inside and you too can anoy those riding with you, with the loud clicking noise your freehub now makes

andretraut Posted June 11, 2012 Share Ride them more ,they will get a bit louder as the grease on the pawls thins out. They will however never become noisy, unless something is broken inside!
Zula Posted June 11, 2012 Share Dude my 404's are incredibly loud. I wouldn't even mind quieting them down a bit but I wont be that picky No idea though how you would make them louder.

Congrats on the wheels W@nna-BE!! To make them louder you could just peg a piece of cardboard to your frame and let it run in the spokes (like when you were a kid), that makes quite a loud noise... Enjoy them, I wouldn't mind a set of deep sections.
Let's Ride Posted June 11, 2012 Share Take the grease out. But honestly. It's a tad irritating so rather add in some more grease to make them silent.
