If it rings while I'm riding its easy to screen the call and decide if I need to take it or not. You need a phone that talks to you. Mine tells me if the call is one worth answering or not.
Pieter1 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I put it in a waterproof bag and then in the storage pocket of my camelbak. Its on silent so I dont need to answer etc. I only take it for the gps app things.

I put my ringer off but use it for the training tool.
DR ◣◢ Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Camelback. Having a phone with you could make the difference between life and possible death. Always have the trail centre or club house number with you. Also not a bad idea to have an ICE number on your phone.

I would prefer to ride without it earlier in the mornings but I have to do a school run and only get back after 8am. So need to be in contact for business calls. It is a small price to pay for being able to ride at any time.
