Topeak Tri-bag (connects around the stem and the top tube), small ziplock bag for water damage. If it rings while I'm riding its easy to screen the call and decide if I need to take it or not.

You need a phone that talks to you. Mine tells me if the call is one worth answering or not.

I put it in a waterproof bag and then in the storage pocket of my camelbak. Its on silent so I dont need to answer etc. I only take it for the gps app things.

What other options are there.......

How do you carry your cell while cycling?

Where can I get lycra pant with a pocket? Is it a bibpant?

Camelback.

Having a phone with you could make the difference between life and possible death.

Always have the trail centre or club house number with you. Also not a bad idea to have an ICE number on your phone.

Are you complaining or bragging? Geez, lucky bugger!

Errr.... neither.

I would prefer to ride without it earlier in the mornings but I have to do a school run and only get back after 8am. So need to be in contact for business calls. It is a small price to pay for being able to ride at any time.

Like others, plastic zip bag with phone switched to silent.

Need it in case of emergency, I have a cheap R399 model, but it has at least camera so i can take pics if i want.

i very rarely ride with my phone :whistling: i know i know - not very safe - have an old nokia lying about and a pay as you go lying about - i just need to introduce them to one another - and then affix it permanently under the saddle

edit - seatpost to saddle
