Watched it on Red Bull TV last night, Gwin is in a class of his own, some Italian rider bailed hard, dunno who he is but he came pipe hard.

Greg is also riding well, not sure what he can do to beat Gwin.

Ther's no answer for gwin...he messed up and still won like nino....was 2.4 -+@ 1st split.

Maybe sum1 shorter can beat him... a leprechaun >?

Nino/gwin too good

That is properly quick!! Looks like his secret is pedal as hard as you can at every opportunity and jump everything. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line!

It's going to take a lot to beat him. He is winning by huge margins. Over a second here and over 4 seconds at Val Di Sol if memory serves me correct.

Fantastic weekend of mountain biking.

Danny Hart is a nipper, he came in third. Gwin just seems to be operating on another level, as the Ninja would say.

Seriously tough & technical course that. Apparently Gee wiped out over a jump during practice and came head-first through the speed trap at 50 k's, Its on 'the internet' somewhere but havent looked as yet.

Must say the commentator Rob Walmer (?) knows his $hit in terms of downhill but seriously (and often erroneously) blags his way through the XC, he needs to read up more about what's happening out there.
