Kask for best fit and still under 300g and minimal profile.

Heard good things about Windmax, awesome looking lid.

Giro Aeon is awesome, Then Prevail. Kask are also very nice.

Aeon is sold out...what about the Atmos? Anyone tried it?

I have the Atmos at present. Very nice helmet.

Got myself a Rudy Windmax. Fit is good and it is lighter than the Giro.

As for the Aeon, I see a lot of the straps breaking.

Yes, you HAVE TO try them on. People have different head shapes. Some brands will fit one person well, but not their buddy.

Good plan of action when buying helmets:

1. Make a short-list of highly rated helmets in your price-range.

2. Try them on and pick the most comfortable.

3. If two or more are equally comfortable, buy best ventilated one.

4. If two or more still remain, pick lightest one.
