no, he hasn't - he's specced a 160mm fork for the Jabula, which is design around 170mm travel :ph34r:

I treated the build much like the old Yeti AS-X which was a 180mm travel bike, but could be run with a 160, 180 or 200mm fork. Quite a few Santa Cruz bikes run larger rear travel than front.

 

But yeah, because Fox doesn't make a 170mm fork, only a 160 and a 180... and because this bike is designed to be an enduro/AM rig, I chose to go with the 160mm Talas as opposed to the 180mm (which is better suited to freeride).

 

I could have gone for a RS Lyrik, or a BOS Deville... and although I like BOS, they have n local support. So I opted for the Fox, as their talas 36mm is a very capable fork.

 

So yeah, I'm 10mm out... but I did thnk bout it ;)
