Flowta Posted August 6, 2012 Share Please read the attached press release if you are considering fitting 650b Wheels to your 26" Fox Forks......... They are covering themselves legally. Rotational and torsional stresses??? HAHAHA Anyone who puts 650B wheels on any fork MUST (not should) check that there will be no interference when there is a bottom out situation, if there is make the appropriate rectification (e.g. new fork, spacers, etc.)
Eldron Posted August 6, 2012 Share Putting a 650b wheel in a 26" will kill you. Likewise not reading the manufacturers booklet when buying a new bike, riding without a helmet, taking pain killers and operating heavy equipment... It's a wonder there are any of us left to post here!

Keep quiet?Of they're covering themselves legally, but by doing so they're also informing people of the possible consequences.

Of course they should cover themselves, esp in terms of the crown interference. But the extra torsional and rotational forces are negligible and will not add to accelerated wear or failure
