martinsnyman Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) Hi Guys, Need some advice on washing my bike. Where am I allowed to use the hose pipe to sray / rinse and where not? I use the normal hose pipe fitting that you can close/adjust to give a fine / wide spray or a narrow / strong stream of water - is this too much pressure, could I danmage bearings etc? How do I lube the bike again after each wash and what do I use? I have a full suspension carbon bike. Thank you. Edited August 10, 2012 by martinsnyman

ThePubSA Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Luke warm water in a bucket with a rag & your preferred cleaner.I use sunlight always ,takes longer with a luke warm rag then just blasting with the hose,but i dont get the water where i dont want it this way .Then a mistermin after to shine up or i use car wax polish like 4 times a year,just to give a nice coat against the UV
