Eugene Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Sunlight soap mixture and a good old fashioned nail brush. Don't scrub against the edges of the tape, but scrub with them (if that makes sense)

Okay, sorry. That's just a bit of newbie poster ribbing... Yeah, as above a mixture of sunlight and water you can apply with your hands and take a brush to the stubborn bits.

Did that once and the whole race i was sliding off the thing in all direction , like trying to sit on a beach ball covered in grease, its as slick as hell. tombeej Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I just take my tape off every now and then, soak in cold water omo and scrub with a standard bathtime scrubbing brush. Then wind the tape back in reverse to the way it was done before, i.e. the previously 'exposed' areas now become the areas under wraps. My current tape has about 3000km in them and they're looking almost as clean as when I bought them.
