The best DIY stans (sealant) type home brew?

I have tried the good old search function via my cell, but have really turned up nothing worthwhile.

 

So what is The best DIY stand type home brew?

 

If you have fettled in this and been successful it wood be great to hear how you whent about it and what the final cost was and the if it was worth the effort vs just going out and buying Stans.

well I currently use the following

 

1 part liquid latex (dala)

1 part cheap tire sealant

2 parts water

 

cost comes to about R40 for 500ml

I think the OP is talking about making his own tire sealant? or at least thats what I understand

Sorry the thread heading should read stans not stand...damned predictive text.

 

Will correct this when at a pc tomorrow as I can't fibd the function on the hubsa's mobile site.

500ml Liquid latex

100ml Antifreeze with monoethylene glyco

fine shaved/Cut inner tube pieces. (I use a scissors and some TV time for this)

 

 

Has worked for 3 Kalchal event for myself and partner.......

Hi guys I get it from bidorbuy

 

here is the link to their 1L bottle have used about half in the last year, and change selant about once every 2 months.

apparently the normal green slime also works as part of the mix, havent tried it personally though.

 

I just use the cheap stuff you get at sportmans, game or makro. one R40 bottle (350ml) makes close on 1.5L sealant
