He tried, but I think he actually fancies her brother more… :whistling: Purely bromance of couse…
"However, it became apparent early in his run that Gwin was suffering mechanical problems, eventually finishing a distant 83rd, after his brakes, in the words of the team manager, 'exploded'." Cyclingnews.com

Hells yeah I called dibs!

but totally untrue about the bromance with Mick (although he did show that a my bike was the fastest down the hill in qualies)

I do however have couple of other man crushes that raced yesterday. Stevie Smith being one.

If Greg didn't win, I would have wanted Stevie to take it. The atmosphere got pretty tense when Gee knocked Smith off the hot seat. There was no love for Gee in Daft Vader's living room yesterday.

So so glad that Minnaar sent Gee back to his trailer to cry!

My damn recording stopped in Minaar's run  Glad to hear he knocked it out the park. What was his winning time?

I nearly threw something at he TV when the PVR recording ended just before Gee's run.

Well done Greg. Super smooth style and hard pedalling won the day.

Edit: I clearly have to start setting the buffer at the end of the recordings to 20 minutes.

I only have one question - how the hell did Smithy get round that second wall ride without his organs coming out his bottom? Damn that was fast.

The option of the two big jumps certainly paid off.

Greg was super smooth.

Most exciting run of the day goes to Smithy though - right on the ragged edge with loads of sudways action on the way down.

Awesome stuff all round - been a while since I shouted at my TV!

I gave both kids and the dog a big fright when I shouted at the TV as he crossed the line. Very exciting to watch - well done Greg!

Damn I wish I had the balls and skill to ride a bike like almost anyone of those DH guys!
