What brakes does Gwin ride, that "exploded" like that?

Yeah, after all he may have had a "Monkey" working on his bike…

Greg uses the same...

Ah. yes true. It's just unfortunate for Gwin. He'll win one for sure. He's just so fast.

On a side note. I challenge anyone to find a story about Greg on any mainstream SA news websites. Nothing!

Print media largely ignored it too. Pretoria News had a standalone pic on the back page, while The Witness carried it on the front.

Ja. The news is full of Oscar's tantrum tho.

Minaar gets the rainbows and South Africa is focussed on Oscar Pistorious throwing a frothy about another guys legs.

If anybody else missed this hook up at http://live.redbull....d-championship/

You can watch it again.

thanks, wow smooth riding from the fresh prince of big air

I see in the post run interview max asks him about WC in maritzburg next year, and greg says it would be great to 'end it all there with a third win'...so i suppose that means he's retiring in 2013?

Be sad to see him go, but now that he has a Worlds title to his name, he doesn't need to win anything else.

Yes he does.... A once in a lifetime World's, on home soil..... Wouldn't that be the ultimate, as he might have indirectly said?

My mate Dan reckons he's boring to watch. But that's just cos he's so polished. Almost like John McGuinness on the Isle of Man. Just smooth and fast.
