If thats the case, well fair enough - he knew not what he did. If not, then he must be held accountable. The past is gone, there are millions of people world wide who were oppressed, murdered, tortured, burnt in chambers, gassed, were removed from their land, their houses and their families, millions of people have just disappeared, millions are incarcerated in hellish prisons or camps without trial. We are not the only nation with a past. What do you want us to do, grovel on our bellies and live in the past?,.......... must Germany still atone for the sins of Hitler and Riechmann, must white Americans still atone for the slaughter of millions of Indians, must Australia still atone for the removal of millions of aborigines from the land, must New Zealand still atone for the oppression of the Maori people, how long do you want to remember??
