Verbruggen makes a tit of himself, why leave it all to Fat Pat?

Much of the talk in American news cycles last week was about presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his series of mostly self-inflicted wounds. But he wasn’t the worst off. Cycling’s heads of state, unable to avoid the press at the recent world championships, proved so gaffe-prone there I wouldn’t hand them a set of child safety scissors.

Maybe he’ll quit and go home without contesting the suit, but it won’t be for lack of moral or financial support. Maybe he’ll pick up the lance and run it through the nutsacks of Verbruggen and McQuaid, shriveled and hidden though they may be. Maybe he’ll fight and lose, but do justice to free speech in the process. And maybe, just maybe, he’ll fight and win and buy his first celebratory beer with the $5 you donated.

And dude that 150kg chick you keep bringing up is gonna be fodder in a few months! haha

Seriously? This is your actual opinion? And I thought the Nokia Hugger the least credible Hubber!

Dude, goya took that prize a long time ago.

It's an impressive win considering how strong the competition is!

True, and yet goya took the win by a massive margin. Wonder if he's a double poster, cause he only ever posts in Lance related threads.

Now here's a journo (spit, sick, scum of the earth) that I would have a pint with...if only for his name...

Whether that chance is seized, requires all in the sport to recognise the wrongs committed - me included. But it must also come from up top at the UCI. If not, then those up top must go.

$36 000 - seems like this has given cycling fans a platform.

Yeah, just short of $20.000.00 US Dollars, quite a tidy sum and growing. I think the UCI must be more than a little concerned about this support for Kimmage and the call for a change of the old guard at their headquarters, and if they arent they should be, I haven't found much sympathy for either Pat or Hein in any of the general cycling media.
